Dr. Wittenborn is a fellowship trained Plastic Surgeon who is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has been practicing in Fort Myers since 2003 and is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Lee Memorial Hospital. As an expert in his field, Dr. Wittenborn treats complicated plastic surgery problems and supports the local Trauma Center for Lee Memorial Health System. He is actively involved with trauma reconstruction, performing procedures that only a limited number of surgeons offer in South Florida.
Dr. Wittenborn has diverse training in Cosmetic, Plastic, Hand and Microsurgery. He completed an externship in Cosmetic Surgery in New York City on Park Ave at Lennox Hill Hospital, and at Manhattan Eye & Ear Institute. He has authored several peer-reviewed articles and is current with the latest cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Wittenborn was born in New Jersey but makes South Florida his home. In his free time he enjoys running, fishing, cooking and swimming with his wife and two children.
